My grandmother always called me her sunshine : in Arabic, that's Shamsi.

I'm Amaury, half Belgian, half Moroccan, and Marbella has been part of my life since I was a child. I grew up between cultures, between languages, between worlds. And somewhere in all of that, I fell in love with two things : fashion, and sunglasses.

It runs in the family. Everyone around me was an optician. I grew up surrounded by frames, lenses, craftsmanship. While other kids collected stickers, I collected sunglasses. So when the time came to build something of my own, the answer was obvious.

SHAMSI was born in Marbella in 2024, in a city where the sun isn't just weather, it's a way of life. Andalusia got under my skin a long time ago, and I never left. This is home. And this brand is an extension of that warm, unapologetic, alive.

What I wanted to create was simple : a pair of sunglasses that feels premium without the premium price tag. No inflation, no brand tax, no bullshit. Just exceptional quality, original design, and a fair price. €85 for a pair that holds its own against anything at €300. That's the deal, and I stand by it.
